Nahargarh Fort: A mountain range named Aravali originated in the Precambrian era 45000 million years ago. It is the oldest mountain range in the world. It divides Rajasthan into two parts from north to south. Its length is about 692 kilometers from Palanpur, Gujarat to Raisina Hill, Delhi. However, 79.49% of this hill is in Rajasthan. Sawai Raja Jai Singh II built a fort in 1734 in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. It has been built on top of the Aravali mountain range that surrounds Jaipur. This fort is known today as the Nahargarh Fort.

The reason is the mysterious disappearance of two brothers on September 1. The body of one of them was found but the body of the other was not found even after six days. Sudarshangarh was built in 1734
Forts play a major role in the beauty of Rajasthan. Nahargarh Fort is also one of them. Jaipur city can be seen from the fort. It was built for security purposes during the monarchy in Rajasthan. Nahargarh Fort along with Amer Fort and Jaigarh Fort was a strong defense ring for the city. Before Nahargarh, this fort was named Sudarshangarh. There is a story behind the name change. After its construction in 1734, it was expanded in the year 1868. It is believed that many ghostly activities were seen during its construction. This scared the laborers working there. It is said that whatever was constructed during the day would get destroyed on its own at night.
Sudarshangarh became Nahargarh
The reason behind this is that Yuvraj Nahar Singh died at this place. It is said that the ghost of Yuvraj Nahar Singh wanted the fort to be named after him. Later, to calm down all the ghostly activities, a temple of Nahar Singh was built inside the fort. Also, the fort was named Nahargarh Fort after the Yuvraj. Nahar literally means tiger. Nahargarh means the place where tigers reside. Since then, its ghostly activities and beauty are discussed in the country and abroad.
Two brothers disappeared together in Nahargarh
Nahargarh once again came into the news when two brothers went missing in the Nahargarh hills. On September 1 at 6 am two brothers Rahul and Ashish from Shastri Nagar, Jaipur reached the Nahargarh hills for trekking. The trekking went on from morning till afternoon. In the meanwhile they talked at home too. They told at home that they have lost touch with each other. They are unable to understand anything because of the separation. At 1:30 pm the family reported the disappearance of their two sons aged 19 and 21 to the Shastri Nagar police station. But instead of taking immediate action the police said that the matter belongs to the Brahmapuri police station.
Police, NDRF and SDRF teams started the search
At 3.30 in the afternoon, the family reached the Brahmapuri police station. But even here the police did not take any action. The DCP was informed about the matter. The DCP first sent a team of Civil Defence. The operation was not easy in the pouring rain and the setting sun. An attempt was made to connect with both the brothers on the phone. But no conversation could take place. Their location was traced on the morning of September 2. Based on the last location, the search began again the next day i.e. September 2. The matter was becoming serious. Now along with Civil Defence, SDRF and NDRF teams also reached the spot.

At around 10 in the morning, the search team finds the younger brother, 19-year-old Ashish. But not alive, dead. The body is sent for postmortem. The postmortem report comes. It is revealed that Ashish died due to injuries. But it is not known what kind of injuries he sustained. Maybe due to falling from a height. But this is just a speculation. The dead man’s phone was also recovered. Call records were retrieved. It was revealed that both the brothers worked in a finance company. Both of them had also talked to a girl working in the company. The direction of the case changed. Now it is being linked to murder, conspiracy and accidental death. The mystery of death is complicated.
Even after six days there is no trace of the elder brother
The search for the second brother, i.e. Rahul, is started. Looking at the seriousness of the matter, a team of 200 people was deployed. Drones were flown. The search operation is still on. Everyone involved in the search, including Civil Defence, SDRF and NDRF, has come up empty handed. Today, six days after the disappearance of both the brothers, not even the slightest clue of the elder brother has been found. The matter is serious also because the body of the elder brother was found about four kilometers away from the trekking route. This is an area where generally no one goes. Dreaded panthers are also present in these dense forests.
Haunted history in discussion again
Now the haunted history of Nahargarh is also being linked to the disappearance. After the postmortem of one of the brothers and the truth not being revealed, the discussion about the haunted is gaining momentum. During the construction of the fort, the work done during the day would get destroyed at night. The real reason for which is not known till date.
