The BJP government of Haryana has taken a big decision on reservation the very next day after taking oath. In the cabinet meeting chaired by CM Nayab Singh Saini, it was decided that sub-categorization will be done in the reservation of Scheduled Castes. This decision has been taken in the first cabinet meeting itself and we implement it from today itself. He said that the Supreme Court had given authority to the states in this regard. He said that now reservation can be given to the deprived Scheduled Castes by creating a quota for them. Haryana government will now be able to give quota to other castes included in the scheduled castes in the state.
The Chief Minister said that in this meeting, our cabinet has respected the decision of the Supreme Court, which was a matter of classification in SC. Our cabinet has decided to implement it from today itself. In fact, the Supreme Court had recently ruled that state governments have the right to make sub-categorization in SC-ST reservation. This can be done for those castes which are more backward. Setting a separate quota for them within the quota will help in their development. This decision of the Supreme Court was opposed by a section of Dalits and a one-day bandh was also observed in the month of August.
The Nayab Sarkar has taken another decision in this meeting. There will be free dialysis facility for serious kidney patients in all government hospitals of the state. Soon free dialysis facility will be provided in all medical colleges also. Chief Minister Nayab Saini said that there is a third BJP government in Haryana. The government has been elected by the poor people of the state, hence the people of the state have been given the facility of free treatment for serious kidney patients in government hospitals.
Every grain of the crop will be purchased at MSP
CM Saini said that I again want to make it clear to the farmers of Haryana that every grain of their crop will be purchased at MSP. Rs 3,056 crore for paddy purchase has to be transferred to his account. The Chief Minister said that I warn such people who are involved in criminal activities. They will either leave the state, else we will make reforms. Our government promises that we will protect every person.
Providing jobs was business for Congress
CM cornered Congress regarding government recruitments. The CM said that giving jobs was a business for him and he considered Haryana Staff Selection Commission as Lala’s shop. But the people of Haryana had full faith in BJP. This is the first time that the youth in Haryana are getting jobs without any slip and without any expense. I had said that I will take the oath later, but will first give jobs to 25 thousand youth. Today I have also joined and those youth have also joined.
