The National Investigation Agency will now investigate the hand grenade attack in Sector-10 bungalow in Chandigarh. The case was transferred after a late night meeting between Chandigarh Police and NIA officers. Both the accused involved in the incident have been identified. Rohan Masiha, a resident of Pashia village in Amritsar, threw the hand grenade in the bungalow. The second accused is Robin’s friend. The accused have been identified through the photos released by the police. Meanwhile, the police have detained auto driver Kuldeep. The police said that the auto driver is mostly at Sector-43 bus stand and sleeps there.
Safety lever of hand grenade recovered
The police have found the safety lever of the grenade. Police teams were investigating the crime scene since morning. Police officials said that it was dark at night. So it was taking time to gather facts. Then CFSL and other teams arrived again. Police say that the recovered safety lever has also been sent for investigation. Only this safety lever will reveal where the grenade was manufactured.
Jumped from the auto and escaped in another
Both the accused were seen in the CCTV camera installed at Sector-43 bus stand on Wednesday. From here they hired an auto for Sector-10. The auto driver reached Cricket Stadium Chowk from Sector-43 bus stand via Attawa Chowk, Kisan Bhawan. From here he took them via Matka Chowk, behind the Police Headquarters, in front of Hotel Mountview, to Kothi No. 575 of Sector-10. After the blast, both the youths returned by auto from Hotel Mountview to Matka Chowk from Police Headquarters. From here, both jumped out of the auto near Sector-17/18 divided light on Sector-17 slip road and threw 500 rupees in the auto. From there they hired another auto and fled.

Happy Pashia of Babbar Khalsa International has taken the responsibility of the hand grenade attack in Sector 10’s Kothi No. 575. Happy Pashia posted on social media, Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh, today we remembered the martyr Keete Singhan of Nakodar in 1986, by attacking with grenade in Sector 10 Kothi No. 575 D Block, SP Gurkirat Chahal was shot dead along with his gunman and his body was punished, Babbar Khalsa International. After this, four photos have been attached with the caption ‘Sikh Martyr of Nakodar 1986’, whose names are also written. Police investigation revealed that Happy Pashia is an associate of terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda and he is running the gang. Happy Pashia has asked SP Harvinder Singh Rinda to retire in October 2023. Dismissed Punjab Police constable Vikramjit Singh was given Rs 15 lakh to kill Gurkeerat Chahal.
