Bihar News: The Nitish government of Bihar approved several major decisions in the cabinet meeting on Tuesday, which will directly affect the state ministers and youth of jobs. The government has increased their monthly salary from ₹ 50,000 to ₹ 65,000, making a significant increase in the salaries and allowances of ministers and deputy ministers. At the same time, the regional allowance has been increased from ₹ 55,000 to ₹ 70,000 and daily allowance from ₹ 3,000 to ₹ 3,500. Hospitality allowance has also increased. State ministers will now get ₹ 29,500 and Deputy Ministers will get ₹ 29,000 per month. Apart from this, travel allowance has also been increased from ₹ 15 per kilometer to ₹ 25 per kilometer.

In this meeting, it was also agreed to create government posts to increase employment opportunities in the state. More than 20,000 new posts have been created in the health department alone. A large number of appointments have also been announced in the departments of alcoholism, agriculture, cabinet secretariat, education and AYUSH.
