Nitish kumar: Nitish Kumar’s government in Bihar has taken a huge step towards women empowerment. The Nitish government has decided to pass the ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme’ in the cabinet meeting held on August 29. Under this scheme, financial assistance of 10 thousand to 2 lakh rupees will be provided to women of Bihar to emphasize employment and to provide new opportunities. With this scheme, women of the state will not only get help in moving forward, as well as the name of Bihar will also be high at the national level.

Nitish Kumar said through his social media- Since the formation of the government in November 2005, our government has taken many big steps for women empowerment. Trying to make women strong and self -sufficient. Now women are not only focusing on the progress of Bihar with their hard work but are also strengthening the financial situation of their family. Taking this mission forward, we have taken an important and unprecedented decision, which will have positive and far -reaching consequences.
Our government has approved a new scheme ‘Women Empowerment Scheme’ for women’s employment in the cabinet meeting today. The main goal of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the women of the state to start employment of their choice.
We have worked on a large scale for women empowerment since the formation of the government in November 2005. Many important steps have been taken to make women strong and self -reliant. Now women are not only contributing in the progress of Bihar with their hard work, but they are also of their families…

Low benefits of the scheme-
1. In the form of financial assistance, a woman of all families will be given 10 thousand rupees in the first installment to start employment of her choice.
2. The process of taking applications from interested women will be started soon, its entire process will be determined by the Rural Development Department, and if required, help will be taken from the Municipal Development and Housing Department.
3. From September 2025, money will start going to the accounts of women.
4. Additional assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh will be provided by assessing the work 6 months after women starting employment.
5. Hot markets will be developed for the sale of women’s products from villages to city in the state.
