It also has a connection with the Haryana Assembly elections. If sources are to be believed, Kailash Gehlot, Transport Minister in the Delhi Government, is also in the race for the CM post and since he comes from the Jat community, it is believed that by betting on him, AAP can kill two birds with one stone.
Kailash Gehlot being a Jat will benefit AAP!
Kailash Gehlot, MLA from Najafgarh, Delhi, was born in a Jat family. His area Najafgarh is located on the outskirts of Delhi and is close to Gurugram and Bahadurgarh in Haryana. Because Kailash Gehlot is a Jat, it is believed that if Aam Aadmi Party makes him the new Chief Minister, then the party can get an advantage in the elections to be held in Haryana next month. Earlier, there were attempts to form an alliance between AAP and Congress in Haryana, but things did not work out, after which both the parties decided to contest the elections alone. The Jat community has a good influence in Haryana and in view of this, Aam Aadmi Party can also try to take some advantage through Kailash Gehlot. After Delhi and Punjab, Haryana is the place where AAP sees the most possibilities. This time the party will definitely think of opening its account in the state by winning some seats or coming into the role of kingmaker. The path to make Kailash Gehlot the CM is not that easy. In fact, like Kejriwal and Sisodia, Kailash Gehlot is also involved in the alleged liquor scam in Delhi. Apart from Atishi, Saurabh, Gehlot, Gopal Rai’s name is also in the race for the CM post. Seeing his clean image, Gopal Rai is also in the race.
