A case of molestation of school girls in a hostel has come to light in Kolkata. Police have arrested 3 people on this charge. According to India Today’s report, the hostel warden’s husband and a teacher molested the minor girls several times. This incident took place in the hostel of St. Stephen’s School located in Haridevpur area of Kolkata. The entire matter came to light when the parents of the students went to meet them on Sunday. The girls narrated their ordeal and then the parents reached the police station with a complaint.
It is being told that the hostel warden got married a few days ago. Since then, her husband used to come to the hostel often. He used to stay with his wife overnight. But, other hostel officials were not aware of these meetings. The warden’s husband is accused of sexually harassing a student a few days ago. After this, he molested three more students in the hostel. In this case, the police have arrested the hostel warden, a teacher of St. Stephen’s School and a person associated with the authority. However, the warden’s husband is still absconding and is being searched for.
