In Rajasthan, a father kept raping his elder daughter by calling her his wife. Now the court has sentenced the accused in this case. The accused father who raped his own daughter in Atru area of Baran district of Rajasthan was sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for the rest of his life by the POCSO court on Tuesday. Along with this, a fine of 2 lakhs has also been imposed on the accused. After the death of his wife, the accused made his 15-year-old elder daughter a victim of his lust.
In a complaint given to the police by the victim on October 1, 2022, the victim had told that one night the brother and sister were all sleeping in the room. Then the father did wrong things with the victim. On protesting, the father said that ‘You are my wife and elder daughter, so you will have to do the same thing with me that I used to do with your mother’. The victim told that since that day the father used to commit rape with her. Due to fear of the father, the victim hid in a temple in the neighborhood. After this, she went with a woman and lodged a complaint at the police station.
14 witnesses and 29 documents were presented
Special Public Prosecutor Harinarayan Singh said that in this case, the police had registered a case under several sections including the POCSO Act and arrested the accused. On November 17, 2022, a challan was also presented in the court against the accused. In this case, 14 witnesses and 29 documents were presented in the court, on the basis of which Judge Sonia Beniwal punished the accused. At the same time, after the incident, the accused was arrested by the police and sent to judicial custody. Since then he was in judicial custody. At the same time, apart from the fine amount, it has also been recommended to give Rs 500000 separately to the victim under the Victim Compensation Scheme.
