31 Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces on Narayanpur-Dantewada border in Chhattisgarh last Friday. Out of these, 22 Maoists have been identified so far and the bodies of the remaining nine Maoists are yet to be identified. The government had declared a reward of Rs 1.70 crore on these 22 Naxalites. Security forces expect more bodies to be found. So far 22 bodies have been identified. Those involved in the encounter have been identified as one DKSZC, three DVCMs, nine PLGA Company No. 6 members, two DKSZC guards, six area committee members and one area committee party member cadre. It is believed that after this encounter the entire company of Naxalites has been wiped out.
