Gandhinagar: In Gujarat, a woman murdered her husband on the fourth day of their marriage. The woman first kidnapped her husband and then strangled him to death in the SUV. After this the body was thrown into the canal. According to the information, Bhavik, a resident of Ahmedabad, was married to Payal of Gandhinagar. Police said that during preliminary investigation, it was revealed that Payal along with her cousin brother Kalpesh had conspired to murder her husband, with whom she was in love before marriage.
She left her maternal home after marriage
It is being told that after marriage, Payal had gone to her maternal home. On Saturday, Bhavik had gone to Payal’s parents’ house to pick her up. When he did not reach there on time, Payal’s father called Bhavik’s father and informed him that his son had not reached their house. Bhavik’s father told him that his son had left home long ago. After this Payal’s father and his family started searching for her nearby.
Eyewitnesses gave big information
During the search, the family members found a two-wheeler lying on the road, which belonged to Bhavik. Eyewitnesses told them that the man riding a two-wheeler was abducted by three men, who first hit his vehicle from behind with their SUV, causing him to fall to the ground, and then abducted him.
Woman conspired with her lover to commit murder
After this Payal’s family contacted the police and informed them about the incident. The police became suspicious after hearing that Bhavik was kidnapped just four days after his marriage. He interrogated Payal. When police interrogated her strictly, Payal confessed that she had conspired to kidnap Bhavik and murder him.
Based on the information given by Payal, the police traced and arrested the three accused and interrogated them. The accused Kalpesh told the police that he along with two others kidnapped Bhavik and strangulated him to death in his SUV. They threw his body in the nearby Narmada Canal.
The family members had arranged the marriage without their consent.
Police said that while Bhavik was on his way to Payal’s parents’ house, he called her to know her exact location. After knowing this, he shares his place with Kalpesh. She said that she loved Kalpesh, but her parents got her married to Bhavik. After this she decided to eliminate her husband. Payal has been taken into custody while the three main accused have been arrested.
