Maharashtra News: Encouraged by the success in Maharashtra Assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party has now started barricading for local body elections. But the matter heated up when State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule claimed that some MPs and MLAs of ‘Mavia’ are in touch with BJP. After this, the discussion about ‘Operation Lotus’ started again in the state and politics became heated from Maharashtra to Delhi. Whereas it is being said that Mahavikas Aghadi is still struggling with the shock of defeat.
Sources claim that five-six MPs of Mahavikas Aghadi are in touch with BJP and they are ready to resign and contest elections again if they are assured of ministerial posts or other responsibilities at the Centre.
Let us tell you that BJP had suffered a big setback in the state in the Lok Sabha elections and to form the government at the Centre, BJP had to take the support of the constituent parties. In such a situation, now BJP can break some MPs in an attempt to increase its numerical strength. Because BJP needs to increase its strength at the centre. Although it has a huge majority in the state, hence it is not in such a hurry to break the MLAs.
But there is no support from the party and it is being ignored by the party leaders. Bawankule noted that some MPs from ‘Mawia’ complain that not much effort is being made to solve some of the problems of the people in the constituency.
Bawankule noted that some MPs from ‘Mawia’ complain that not much effort is being made to solve some of the problems of the people in the constituency. There is no support from the party and this problem is being ignored by the party leaders. In such a situation, these MPs believe that if the ruling parties join the grand alliance, then the work and projects in the parliamentary constituency can also come back on track.
Bawankule has said that those who support Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s concept and want to join the party to work under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will be welcomed.
Reacting to this, Shiv Sena (Thackeray) leader MP Sanjay Raut said that BJP can go to any extent to carry out ‘Operation Lotus’. They have immense money and system. He has broken people like this before. He asked why people like Eknath Shinde or Ajit Pawar ran away, both of them were killed by fear. This was not ‘Operation Lotus’ but ‘Operation Fear’. He alleged that they had gone there out of fear.
However, this claim has been rejected by Congress State President Nana Patole. He said that this alleged discussion has no meaning. The first session of Mahayuti is being held in Nagpur.
