The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of light to moderate rain in various parts of MP during the next 24 hours. IMD says that the weather is expected to worsen from September 16. Heavy rain may occur especially in eastern MP. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of heavy rain in various parts of eastern Madhya Pradesh on September 16, 17 and 18. If the Meteorological Department is to be believed, the people of the state may start getting relief from heavy rain from September 19.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for light to moderate rain in Betul, Burhanpur, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Indore, Ratlam, Dewas, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Sheopurkalan, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Maihar and some parts of Pandhurna districts during the next 24 hours.

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of light to moderate rain in various parts of Singrauli, Sidhi, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Dindori, Mandla, Balaghat and Maihar districts on September 16. Heavy rain can also be recorded at some places. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued for light to moderate rain in various parts of Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar-Malwa, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Sheopurkalan, Rewa and Mauganj districts.

Not only this, a yellow alert for light to moderate rain has been issued in different parts of Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh and Pandhurna districts on September 16. On September 17, a yellow alert for light to moderate rain has been issued in different parts of Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar-Malwa, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri districts.

Along with this, a yellow alert has been issued for light to moderate rain in different parts of Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopurkalan, Singrauli, Mauganj, Anuppur, Shahdol, Dindori, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Pandhurna districts on September 17. At the same time, IMD has issued an orange alert for light to moderate rain in different parts of Sidhi, Rewa, Satna, Umaria, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari and Maihar districts. Heavy rain may occur at some places.
