Gujarat Rain Warning: With the return of the southwest monsoon, the weather in Gujarat has changed. Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Gujarat once again. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain bad in Gujarat till September 28. IMD has warned of heavy rains in various parts of Gujarat during the next 24 hours. During this time, winds are also expected to blow at a speed of 30 to 40. Orange and yellow alerts have been issued by the Meteorological Department regarding this.
According to IMD, the southwest monsoon has withdrawn from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana and some other parts. However, the weather has changed due to the effect of another system. Due to the low pressure area, widespread light to moderate rain is expected in Gujarat region as well as Saurashtra and Kutch during the next 3 days. Especially in Gujarat region, the weather will be worse on September 26. During this time, heavy rains may occur at some places.
IMD has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rains at isolated places in Valsad, Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli districts of South Gujarat region during the next 24 hours. Not only this, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rains at isolated places in Narmada, Surat, Dang, Navsari and Tapi districts. Light to moderate rains are expected at isolated places in Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod and Mahisagar districts of North Gujarat region.
During this period, surface winds are likely to blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph. Light to moderate rain is likely at isolated places in Vadodara, Chhota Udaipur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad and all districts of Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli of South Gujarat region, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath and Diu districts of Saurashtra.
IMD has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rains at isolated places in Dang, Navsari, Valsad and Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli districts of South Gujarat region on September 25. At the same time, a yellow alert of heavy rain has been issued in Narmada, Surat and Tapi districts of South Gujarat region and Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath and Diu districts of Saurashtra.
On September 25 itself, heavy rains are expected in Aravalli, Kheda, Ahmedabad, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod and Mahisagar districts of North Gujarat region, while Vadodara, Chhota Udaipur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad and Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli districts of South Gujarat region. On the other hand, light rains can be seen in Rajkot, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Botad and Diu of Dasaurashtra. During this time, winds are expected to blow at a speed of 30-40 km per hour.
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rains at isolated places and torrential rains at some places in Valsad, Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli districts of South Gujarat region, Surat, Dang, Navsari and Tapi districts of South Gujarat region and Amreli and Bhavnagar districts of Saurashtra on September 26. A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rains at isolated places in Ahmedabad, Anand, Vadodara, Chhota Udaipur, Narmada and Bharuch districts of Gujarat region and Gir Somnath, Botad and Diu districts of Saurashtra. Heavy rains will be seen in many parts of Gujarat on September 27 as well.
