Due to the rape and murder case in Kolkata, CM Mamata Banerjee and her party TMC are facing heavy opposition. Meanwhile, Mamata Banerjee has once again played the ‘outsider card’, which she also played during the 2021 assembly elections. Taking a dig at the BJP’s bandh, she said that outsiders are trying to spread violence in the state. Mamata Banerjee said, ‘People from outside who are living in Bengal should love Bengal. The people of Bengal will accept them. But if they try to harm Bengal, then they will be answered.’ Mamata Banerjee also said that if you people beat up the police along with the BJP, then someone can beat you too. However, I do not want any dispute to happen here.
Not only this, she took a dig at BJP and said that some people think we are Bangladesh. Let me tell them that we love Bangladesh. They talk like us. Their culture and ours are the same. But keep in mind that Bangladesh is a different country. India is a different country. Apart from this, Mamta Banerjee gave a controversial statement on BJP ruled states and said, ‘If there is an attempt to burn Bengal, then Assam will also not be saved. The Northeast will also catch fire. Even Uttar Pradesh, Bihar will not be saved. How will Odisha survive and how will Delhi survive. We will put your chair in danger.’
Apart from this, Mamta Banerjee, while referring to the gruesome incident that happened with the doctor in the RG Kar Hospital, said that we are saddened by this incident. She appealed to the doctors to return to work because the patients are facing problems. Mamta said that we have not taken any action against the doctors because they are protesting for their friend. But what happened in Delhi. Those people filed a case against the doctors. Due to this, the Supreme Court had to say that if the doctors return to work, then no action will be taken against them.
