The Border Security Force (BSF) in Gujarat’s Kutch district has caught a Pakistani national who was trying to infiltrate into India. This incident took place on January 12, when BSF soldiers, showing alertness, caught a Pakistani citizen entering the Indian border. A BSF official said that this person was trying to cross the border from the area north of Harami Nala.
“On January 12, BSF troops spotted a Pakistani national crossing the international border. He was trying to enter the Indian border from the northern part of Harami Nala area of Kutch district,” the officer said. BSF jawans caught him immediately.
The arrested person has been identified as Babu Ali, a resident of Karo Ghunghru village in Sujawal district of Sindh province of Pakistan. This incident of infiltration took place in the Harami Nala area located on the India-Pakistan international border. BSF also said in the statement that legal action is being taken against the arrested Pakistani national and their vigil regarding border security has been continuously increased.
Pistol dropped by Pakistani drone recovered
In another news, a packet containing a pistol and a ‘magazine’ dropped by a Pakistani drone was recovered on Sunday in a field near the India-Pakistan border in Firozpur district of Punjab. Giving information, a Border Security Force official said that after receiving information about the presence of a suspicious object, BSF personnel had started a search operation. “During a search operation around 9:00 am, BSF troops recovered two packets from a field near Tendi Wala village in Firozpur district,” he said.
“One packet contained a ‘Glock’ pistol with a ‘magazine’, while the other contained suspected heroin (548 grams),” the officer said. Both the packets, wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and tied to iron hooks, may have been dropped by the drone.” On January 8, the BSF had recovered a packet containing a Glock pistol from a field near the India-Pakistan border in Amritsar district.
