Noman ilahi panipat: The interrogation of the security agencies from Nauman Ilahi, who was arrested for spying for Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI, continued for the third consecutive day. On Friday, teams of two other central investigative agencies including intelligence agencies from Center, Army, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana reached Panipat for questioning.
According to sources, Nauman made an important disclosure during interrogation. He said that Pakistan -based ISI Commander Iqbal Kana had handed him a task of sending a video of the activities of the Indian Army in Srinagar during ‘Operation Sindoor’. Instead, it was promised to give him financial benefits.
Army train is also targeted by ISI
Investigation has also revealed that the military train from Delhi to Jammu was on ISI target. Several videos related to the train have been recovered from Nauman’s mobile. Apart from this, recording of suspicious conversation has also been found in his phone.
On Friday, CIA One team reached his house in Kairana with Naaman. Several passports and suspected documents have been recovered during the search of the house located in Begumpura Bazar area. Those whose names are these documents, they have also been taken under investigation.
Sleeper cell was being prepared in Yamuna Khadar area
During interrogation, Nauman claimed that ISI was busy preparing sleeper cells in Yamuna Khadar area. The youth of Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh were being targeted for this. According to sources, the responsibility of this work was entrusted to Iqbal Kana, who is actively working in Pakistan and is in touch with many other youths. The police is now searching for the youth whom Kana was in touch.
Many agencies are making intensive inquiry
Laptop has not been found from Nauman’s house, but it is feared that it may contain sensitive material related to ISI. Her aunt and aunt live in Pakistan and security agencies are also investigating in this regard.
DSP headquarters Panipat Satish Vats confirmed that Nauman’s passport and mobile were being investigated in depth. About 150 youth numbers have been found in his mobile, which is now being searched by security agencies.
Was working in the factory for four months
The arrested Nauman is a resident of Mohalla Begampura in Kairana. He had been working as a security guard in a factory by staying near his sister in Panipat for the last four months. From there he was collecting information for ISI. On Tuesday, he was arrested by the CIA One team of Panipat and has been taken on seven days remand.
