Sidhu Moosewala was the only child of his parents
Moosewala was murdered by Lawrence Gang on 29 May 2022 by firing bullets. Father Balkaur Singh and mother Charan Kaur were devastated by the death of their young son. After this, Charan Kaur conceived through in-vitro fertilization technique. Charan Kaur gave birth to her second son on 23 March 2024.
Birth was stuck in legal trouble
When Sidhu Moosewala’s mother Charan Kaur conceived through IVF technology, she was 58 years old. According to Indian law, this technology cannot be used for conception at this age. The central government had sought a response from the Punjab government on this issue. There was a lot of uproar on this issue. Moosewala’s parents had replied that they had undergone IVF treatment abroad, only the child was born in India. After this, the matter was settled.
