Suddenly there was a huge landslide on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra route, due to which hundreds of passengers got stuck on both sides of the road. Since then, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra route was closed, causing the operation of vehicles to come to a complete standstill.

According to the information, a giant rock slipped on the road between Algad and Kulagad (NH-9) on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra route. Many videos of this incident are also going viral on social media, in which big parts of the mountain are seen lying on the road. At present, it is a matter of relief that no casualties were reported in this incident. However, due to the accident, the operation of vehicles here was completely stalled. And Adi Kailash and Om mountain are also trapped in the way of visiting and the passengers coming. Due to this, passengers are having a lot of trouble.

BRO team engaged in opening the road
After the accident, the Border Roads Organization (BRO) team is engaged in opening the road. If the BRO team cleans the debris by this evening, then the movement will start. But if the roads are not opened by evening, then the passengers may face trouble. Perhaps passengers may also have to spend the night on the route itself. In this case, SDM Manjit Singh of Dharchula said that a heavy rock has fallen on the way, after which the work of removing debris has also been started. The road is likely to be cleared by evening.
