Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday urged the Bharwad community of Gujarat to adopt natural farming and plant trees under the ‘Name of a tree mother’. He also urged the Bharwad community who mainly contribute to making India a developed nation by 2047. Prime Minister Modi addressed a large number of members of the community to participate in a religious program at Bavaliyali Dham in Dholera Taluka in Ahmedabad.
Appeal to natural farming
Prime Minister Modi said that we have to build a developed India in the next 25 years and for this I need the support of your community. The first step is to develop our villages. I urge you to adopt natural farming and plant a tree under the ‘one tree mother’s name’ campaign. He described Bavaliyali Dham as the place of faith, culture and religion.
Teach daughters to run computers
PM Modi appealed to the community to “bring changes according to the circumstances and teach their daughters to run computers.” He said, “Kisan Credit Card was first issued to farmers. Now we have also given the benefit of this to the cattle rearers, so that they can get loans at low interest rates.
Addressing the people, we said that we have given great pain to our earth because we continued to pull water and then put poisonous chemicals in it. Now, it is our responsibility to make it healthy again and cow dung can help revive the earth. He appealed to the community to get their cattle vaccines for free by the Center against the disease.
CM Patel joined the program
He said that “We also run the National Gokul Mission for the protection of the native cow dynasty. You should take advantage of these schemes. Earlier, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited Bawaliyali Dham and participated in a religious program organized by the Bharavard community.
