PM Modi will go on a tour of Gujarat.
Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will visit Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu and Gujarat on 7-8 March. PM Modi will first visit Silvassa on 7 March and will inaugurate Namo Hospital (first phase) here at around 2 pm. After this, at around 2:45 pm, PM Modi will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several development projects costing more than Rs 2580 crore for the central-wide state in Silvassa. PM Modi will go to Surat in Gujarat after this. Here PM Modi will inaugurate the ‘Surat Food Safety Satuppi Abhiyan’ at around 5 pm. After this, PM Modi will visit Navsari in Gujarat on Saturday 8 March and will talk to Lakhpati Didis at around 11:30 am. This will be followed by a public function, in which various schemes will be launched.
PM’s program in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate Namo Hospital (first phase) in Silvassa. This 450-bed hospital, built at a cost of more than Rs 460 crore, will greatly strengthen health services in this union territory. This hospital will provide state -of -the -art medical services to the people of this region, especially tribal communities.
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects costing more than Rs 2580 crore for the central-wide territory in Silvassa. These schemes include various rural roads and road -related infrastructure, schools, health and welfare centers, panchayat and administrative buildings, Anganwadi centers, water supply and sewage infrastructure etc. The objective of these projects is to improve connectivity, promote industrial development, encourage tourism, create employment opportunities and promote public welfare related initiatives. The Prime Minister will also distribute appointment letters under the employment fair. They will also distribute benefits to the beneficiaries under the PM Awas Yojana – Urban, Gir Adarsh Livelihood Scheme and Silvan Didi Yojana.
Prime Minister Modi’s program in Gujarat
On March 7, Prime Minister Modi will launch Surat Food Safety Support Campaign Program at Limbayat, Surat and distribute benefits to more than 2.3 lakh beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act. On March 8 on the day of Women’s Day, Prime Minister Modi will participate in the Lakhpati Didi program organized in Vansi Borsi village of Navsari district and will talk to Lakhpati Didi. He will also honor 5 millionaires by giving them the Lakhpati Didi Certificate.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate the G-Safar of the Gujarat government (Gujarat scheme for better livelihood for Antyodaya families) and G-Matri (Acceleration of Gujarat Mentarships and individuals) program for change in rural income). The Z-Martri scheme will provide financial assistance and support to the startups that are working towards creating a favorable environment for rural livelihood. The G-Failing Scheme will provide financial assistance and entrepreneurship training to women associated with self-help groups of Antyodaya families in two aspirational districts of Gujarat and thirteen aspirations.
