Free auto rides are being provided on PM Modi’s birthday. Along with this, huge discounts are being given on shopping and hotel bills. All these facilities are being provided to the people in Surat city of Gujarat on PM Modi’s birthday. There are plans to celebrate PM Modi’s birthday in a grand manner here on Tuesday.
10 to 100 percent off
BJP leader Purnesh Modi said that many local businessmen in his constituency will offer discounts ranging from 10 per cent to 100 per cent to celebrate PM Modi’s birthday. Businesses from various sectors including hotels, restaurants, clinics, jewellery, vegetable markets and bakeries will be among those offering discounts to customers.
This is a voluntary decision of the shopkeepers
Purnesh Modi said, ‘Every year in my constituency, we work for the welfare of the people on PM Modi’s birthday. There are about 2,500 businessmen associated with different businesses in the area, who give huge discounts on their goods and shopping to the people here. Every shop has its own plan. What discounts to give, how much discount to give? This is their decision. All this is voluntary.’
Free rides in autos started from Monday
Auto unions in Surat said they are joining in the celebrations on PM Modi’s birthday. Union president Raju Bhandari said, “We will celebrate it as Seva Diwas, where individual auto drivers are giving free rides. Why not do it together? So we will carry passengers for free. This will start from Monday, September 16, which is a day before Narendra Modi’s birthday.”

PM Modi will launch this scheme tomorrow

BJP MP Sambit Patra had said that during the election campaign, PM Modi had given ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’ in Odisha, in which he promised that if the BJP government is formed, every woman will get Rs 50,000 in five years. This process will start from September 17. In this, about 1 crore 30 lakh women will receive the first installment of Rs 5,000 through the Subhadra Yojana. PM Modi will release this first installment.
