PM Narendra Modi in Bihar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Jasauli village in Siwan district of Bihar today i.e. Friday, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 22 development projects worth about Rs 5736 crore. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary were also present with him on the occasion. PM Modi rode in an open jeep and greeted the public and thanked the people who reached the program despite heavy rains.
Poor homes to poor, women honored
The Prime Minister put Rs 51,000 crore as the first installment in the account of about 53,666 beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Urban Awas Yojana. Also, about 6684 urban poor families were handed over the keys of pucca houses. PM Modi said, “More than four crore poor have been given pucca houses to live so far. Out of these, the house installment has been released to about 50 thousand families and this house is in the name of mothers and sisters.”
‘Claws-lanterns’ attacked
Prime Minister Modi attacked the Congress and the RJD and said that he hurt the self -respect of Bihar and always deprived the poor of development. He said, “Those who had spread Jungle Raj in Bihar are dreaming of coming to power again. But now the people of Bihar have become aware from inside and will not let them do so from now on.” He claimed that in the last decade, about 25 crore population of the country has come out of the poverty line, which includes only four crore people from Bihar.

Prime Minister Modi said that “Bihar was once seen as a symbol of migration and plight. But the NDA government has brought the state back on track.
CM Nitish also hit a big attack on Lalu family
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also made a scathing attack in his address and said that the governments before 2005 did nothing for the state. He said, “In the first evening, people could not get out of their homes. We gave reservation to women, improved education and health, built bridges and packages from PM Modi.”
Bihar full of possibilities
The Prime Minister said that India is moving rapidly towards becoming the third largest economy and Bihar will have an important role in it. Recalling the first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad, he said that Bihar will once again lead in the progress of the country.
