Recently, poisonous liquor had wreaked havoc in Saran and Siwan districts of Bihar. Now suspicious deaths in Muzaffarpur district have once again raised many questions. Mukesh Sahni (25), who fell ill after drinking suspicious beverages, also died on Wednesday morning in Dehjivar village of Hathori police station in the district. This is the second death in the village. The family took away Mukesh’s body from SKMCH without post-mortem and performed the last rites. Two other sick people, Manish and Pratiksha Sahni, are said to be admitted in a private nursing home. Police is searching for both of them. Earlier, Shyam Sahni had died on Tuesday evening. Shyam’s post mortem was also not conducted. The reason for the incident is suspected to be poisonous liquor.

On the other hand, after treatment, the victim opponent Sahni has returned home, but he is not coming forward. The police is searching for him. Despite the death of two youths under suspicious circumstances, no FIR was registered regarding the incident at Hathori police station till Wednesday evening.
On the other hand, Shyam’s wife Renu Kumari told that her husband had returned home after drinking at 10 pm on Monday night. When he woke up in the morning, he got him bathed. His health started deteriorating from 11 o’clock. He lost his eyesight at four in the evening. He was taken to SKMCH at five o’clock, where he died after some time. Shyam’s wife says that her husband drank alcohol with four people. Everyone’s condition worsened. Shyam’s father Chandrakishore Sahni also told that his son died due to drinking alcohol.
Six cartons of liquor were prepared, out of which everyone drank two bottles.
Villagers told that six cartons of liquor were made in Dehjivar village. Four people including Shyam and Mukesh drank from it. Shyam, Mukesh drank more and Prachi and Manish drank less. There is also a discussion in the village that Manish had also told the other three about his bad taste.
Rural SP, Vidya Sagar said that it is coming to light that Shyam died due to drinking thinner. Paint work was being done and he drank it thinking it was water. There is information that Mukesh or others are ill but the family members are also not telling anything. Sick persons are being searched.
