Uttarakhand news: Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has made a big statement while participating in a program in Uttarakhand. He clearly stated that the day is not far when the entire Kashmir will be one and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) will also be a part of India. At the same time, he spoke in detail on terrorism, national security, role of journalism, strategic power of Uttarakhand and the defense sector of self -reliant India.
“Not religion, after seeing karma”
In the context of the Pulwama attack, the Defense Minister bluntly said, “We have not seen the religion of the terrorists, saw their karma and hit.” He told how the country has taken the most strict action against terrorism so far and the structures of organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed have also been demolished. “It was an attack on social unity, we also destroyed the structure of terror.”
“PoK will say – I am also India”
The Defense Minister said, “The day is not far when the whole Kashmir will be one. The gap which was created by the partition of 1947, the bridge of development will be built on it. PoK will be with us and will say that – I am also India.” Although he refused to speak in detail on the manner of this process, it definitely indicated that the policy and approach of the government is clear.
Emphasis on the importance of Uttarakhand
Rajnath Singh not only called Uttarakhand as Devbhoomi, but also called it the center of strategic power. He said that this state has given brave sons to the Indian Army and two geographical regiments here have a unique identity in the army. He also remembered that when Uttarakhand was partitioned from Uttar Pradesh, he himself was the Chief Minister of UP and this state was formed during his tenure.
Terrorism: Enemy of humanity
The Defense Minister said that terrorism is the biggest threat to humanity and democracy. “It is mental distortion, stigma on human civilization. It will not end automatically, it will have to be finished.” Taking a dig at Pakistan over terrorism, he said that “Pakistan has now been identified as a country that has sheltered terrorism”. He also questioned the role of the United Nations and described Pakistan as the vice -president of the Anti -Terrorism Committee as “guarding milk from cat”.
“Use of indigenous weapons in Operation Sindoor”
Rajnath Singh said that a large number of indigenous defense equipment was used in the recent “Operation Sindoor”. “We are now getting self -sufficient in defense production. 75% of our total defense procurement budget is focused on purchases from indigenous companies.” He said that India will not import many defense equipment in future, but will be manufactured in India itself.
Cyber and Information Warfare Warning
He also warned that now the war is not only being fought on the border, but there is also a war in social media and cyber space.
“We all have to become a ‘social soldier’. It is our responsibility to be cautious against rumors and fake information.”
