Policemen in Surat revealed a cruel form
Surat: A surprising case has come to light from Surat in Gujarat. Policemen here have crossed all limits of humanity. Policemen have tortured 3 accused of robbery, which also trembles on hearing this. The policemen not only brutally beat these accused but also put petrol and chilli powder on their private parts. Now a court of Surat has taken into consideration this case and has filed a case against 4 policemen.
What is the whole matter?
A Surat court has filed a case against 4 police personnel in the case of torturing three accused arrested in the robbery case. These policemen are accused that they tortured the accused by putting petrol and chilli powder on the genitals and assaulted them.
The victims have been identified as Saurabh Sharma (19), Rakesh Wagh (22) and Subodh Ramani (23). On the basis of the statement of these three, the court of Vidha N Flyki, the court of the fifth Additional Judicial Magistrate (First Class), investigated himself and passed an order to register a criminal case against the policemen and summon them.
The court looked at the statements of the three accused and a doctor. He also took cognizance of many documents including medical records. After which the court said that prima facie it was found that the policemen had committed a crime under the sections of the Indian Justice Code related to deliberately hurting and intimidating.
In the complaint lodged in the court, the three accused said that policemen, including constables Vanar, Jaipal Singh, Narayan Singh and police driver Shaitan Singh, threatened them that if they filed a complaint in the court, they would file a case under the Gujarat Terrorism and Organized Crime Control Act, 2015.
In this case, the victims were arrested on the night of 28 January, on the charge of robbing a gold ‘pendant’ (a type of jewel) worth Rs 89,820 from the Dnyaneshwar Sapkal. (input language)
