Ahead of the Haryana Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) state vice-president and former MLA Umesh Agarwal’s wife Anita Agarwal and son Samarth Agarwal joined the BJP in Gurugram on Sunday. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state issued a statement informing about this.
Former MLA Umesh Agarwal’s wife Anita Agarwal joined BJP on Sunday along with her son Samarth Agarwal. BJP’s Gurugram district president Kamal Yadav and Mahila Morcha state president Usha Priyadarshi got them inducted into the party. Welcoming them into BJP, Yadav said that BJP is a party of workers and they are given full respect. He said that they will get full respect in the party. BJP’s district office secretary Yad Ram Joya, Anu Yadav, Vipin Yadav were also present on this occasion.
Reacting to this, Umesh Aggarwal claimed that he has no relationship with his wife and their divorce case is pending in the court.
BJP state vice president GL Sharma joined hands with Congress
On the other hand, state vice president GL Sharma, who was playing an important role in BJP, said goodbye to BJP on Sunday by joining Congress along with hundreds of his supporters. Former Chief Minister of the state Bhupendra Singh Hooda inducted GL into Congress by making him wear the party’s sash at the official residence of Rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda in New Delhi. Hooda expressed happiness on GL Sharma’s homecoming and said that Pandit GL Sharma is joining the party at the right time. The party will give him full respect and position in the state as per his political stature.
The former Chief Minister assured the supporters of GL Sharma that they need not be disappointed after joining the Congress. He welcomed everyone. He said that the Congress family is continuously growing in the state. This is an indication that people are fed up with the policies of the BJP.
