Sirohi News: The priest of Ganesh temple was murdered with a sharp weapon on Monday night in Krishnaganj of Sirohi Sadar police station area of Rajasthan. Villagers have caught one of the accused. Police has reached the spot. Two miscreants committed the crime when he resisted the snatching of bangle. Hindu organizations have demanded strict action by arresting the accused in the case.
70-year-old Sadhu Salem Giri, who lived in Ganesh Ji temple of Krishnaganj, was brutally murdered by two unknown miscreants late on Monday night after entering the temple. After the incident, people from the vicinity reached the spot and informed the police, on which Sadar police station officer Hansaram Sirvi along with his team reached the spot.
CO Mukesh Chaudhary said that the police have arrested two miscreants with the help of villagers. The body of the deceased sadhu has been kept in the mortuary. The police is strictly interrogating the two miscreants who have been caught.
Sadar police station officer Hansarama Sirvi said that as soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and detained two miscreants. During interrogation, it was revealed that the miscreants tried to snatch the bracelet worn on the hand of the sadhu. When the sadhu protested, the miscreants attacked him with a sharp weapon and killed him. The police is investigating the matter. As soon as the matter came to light, a large number of villagers gathered and started demanding strict action by arresting the accused. People are angry due to the incident.
