Protest in Chhattisgarh against false statement on Rahul Gandhi, Congress leader burnt while burning effigy; Video of the incident

On Thursday, Congress workers protested in Pendra, Chhattisgarh against the indecent statement made against Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and burnt the effigy of the leaders who made the statement. But a stampede situation arose in this program when Congress District President Uttam Vasudev himself got caught in the fire while burning the effigy.

However, due to the presence of mind of the police and the Congress workers standing nearby, the fire was extinguished in time, due to which Vasudev was saved from becoming a victim of a major accident. Currently, he has been admitted to the district hospital for treatment. A video of the incident is also going viral on social media, in which Congress workers are seen burning the effigy and Vasudev is seen getting caught in the fire.

All this was seen in the viral video

The video of this incident shows how Congress workers burnt the effigy as per the pre-planned programme amidst police protection and after that they started throwing some pamphlets in the fire, meanwhile a policeman started removing those pamphlets. Then to stop that policeman, District Congress President Vasudev came and walked over the burning effigy, during which his kurta-pyjama caught fire.

Vasudev fell down while running

After his clothes caught fire, Vasudev got scared and started running fast and fell down. By then, the policemen deployed there prevented a major accident by extinguishing the fire in Vasudev’s clothes with the water brought to extinguish the fire of the effigy. After this, Vasudev was admitted to the district hospital.

Let us tell you that Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu had recently called Rahul Gandhi the biggest enemy and terrorist of the country and Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad had announced a reward of Rs 11 lakh for cutting Rahul Gandhi’s tongue, in protest against which Congress had organized an effigy burning program at Durga Chowk in Pendra.
