Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann discharged from hospital, returns to work immediately

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has been discharged from Fortis Hospital in Mohali today. He reached home from the hospital and immediately called a meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence. He had called a meeting in Chandigarh to review the preparations for paddy procurement starting from October 1 in Punjab as the commission agents have called for boycott of the procurement in view of their demands. Also, rice mill owners have called for boycott of storage and milling of paddy in their mills due to lack of space. In the meeting, the CM has given strict orders to improve the system in the mandis. CM Bhagwant Mann was admitted in the hospital for three days. Today, seeing improvement in his health, he was discharged.

Leptospirosis was confirmed

A few days ago, CM Bhagwant Mann’s health suddenly deteriorated in Chandigarh. He was later admitted to the hospital. After his health deteriorated again on Saturday, he was admitted to Fortis Hospital, where he was medically examined. According to the health bulletin, the problem of increasing blood pressure in the pulmonary artery is now resolved. Meanwhile, after leptospirosis was found in the CM’s blood test report, he has been put on antibiotics.

All heart related reports are normal

All the reports of Bhagwant Mann related to heart have come normal. Dr. RK Jaswal, Director of Fortis Hospital and Head of Cardiology Department, said that Bhagwant Mann was discharged from the hospital at 2 pm on Sunday. All his parameters and pathological tests were found normal. There has been significant improvement in the health of the Chief Minister. He has also responded well to treatment for high blood pressure.
