Punjab Firecracker Factory Explosion: A big news is coming out from Punjab. There was a strong explosion in the cracker factory in Muktsar here late on Thursday night. Four laborers died in the incident, while others are still buried under the rubble. Rescue and relief work is going on. Police reached the spot as soon as the incident was received, after which the investigation started.
What is the matter?
This is the case of Singhewala village in Muktsar district. There was a explosion in the cracker factory late at night. A laborer told about this that everyone was sleeping after the shift of the night, then suddenly there was a strong explosion and many people got buried under the rubble. The blast was so fast that a large part of the factory building collapsed. So far, four people are reported to have died under the rubble in this incident. At the same time, about 27 injured in the accident have been admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Bathinda.
SSP Akhil Chaudhary’s statement
The statement of Muktsar SSP Akhil Chaudhary has also come out in this case. He said, “Initial information has shown that the blast took place in the cracker construction area due to unknown reasons, due to which the building collapsed. It also seems that the workers died due to the collapse of the building, not due to the blast. At present, the police is investigating further.”
In this case, long DSP Jaspal Singh said, “So far four bodies have been removed from the debris. And 27 injured were admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Bathinda. The cracker factory was valid and also has a license. The factory was also built in the fields away from the residential area, where the accident occurred. The police is currently involved in the investigation of the police.”
