Amidst the excitement of Panchayat elections in Punjab, a new form of fear of gangsters has emerged. No one filed nomination for Panchayat elections in Behbal Kalan village of Faridkot district. The reason for this is the notorious gangster Simma Behbal, resident of the village. Simma Behbal wanted to make his father the Sarpanch of the village, but even before the election process started, the police registered a case against Simma Behbal along with his father and other associates. After this his family was not able to file nomination. Due to fear of the gangster and his family, no one from the village filed the nomination. Voting for Panchayat elections will be held in the entire state on October 15. In such a situation, due to no nomination for the post of Panch-Sarpanch in Behbal Kalan, Panchayat elections will not be held.
Gangster Simma is out on bail

At present he is released on bail. As soon as he came out of jail, he started working to make his father the Sarpanch. A few days ago, Simma Behbal had also organized a meeting in this regard in the village. When the police reached there, Simma Behbal ran away from there. The police had arrested two people from whom weapons were found. Faridkot police had registered a case against Simma Behbal, her father and others. At the same time, Faridkot SP Baljit Singh Bhullar said that the district administration can tell about no one filing nomination in Behbal Kalan. The job of the police is to make security arrangements. Police force was deployed at the places where nomination was filed.
