Police have arrested three people in connection with the murder of a youth associated with cult organizations in Harinau village of Faridkot on October 9 during the Punjab Panchayat elections. In this case, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav has made sensational revelations in a press conference. The DGP revealed that the investigation by the special team of police has found evidence of the involvement of Khadur Sahib MP and Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh in this murder. The mastermind of this murder is Arsh Dalla, a terrorist hiding in Canada.
Punjab Police will interrogate jailed Amritpal
Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav told a press conference in Chandigarh that 3 people have been arrested in this case. He had done Reiki of Gurpreet Singh. A search operation is being conducted to nab the shooters. Investigation revealed that the murder was committed at the behest of Amritpal Singh, who is currently lodged in Dibrugarh jail in Assam. DGP said that Amritpal Singh will be interrogated. DGP Yadav said Canada-based Karamvir Gora and gangster-terrorist Arshdeep Singh Dala were the handlers of the four shooters who killed Gurpreet.
Gurpreet was the treasurer of Waris Punjab De organization.
Deceased 32-year-old Gurpreet Singh was made the treasurer of Waris Punjab De Organization in the year 2021. After the death of Deep Sidhu, he remained close to Amritpal, but later parted ways. Gurpreet Singh was shot dead in village Hari Nau of Faridkot. Gurpreet had gone to village Hari Nau to campaign for the Sarpanch candidate in the Panchayat elections. As soon as he started returning from there, three shooters riding a bike opened fire and killed him. Gurpreet Singh had been making statements against Amritpal Singh and Sikh leaders for some time. He was also receiving constant threats because of this. Police had formed a 4-member SIT to investigate the Gurpreet Singh murder case. Which includes three DSPs and one SP.
Amritpal became MP by winning the highest number of votes in Punjab.
Punjab De chief Amritpal Singh, a Khalistani supporter and heir lodged in Dibrugarh jail in Assam under NSA, had won from Khadur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency of Punjab by 1 lakh 97 thousand 120 votes while in jail. This was the biggest victory in Punjab. He had defeated Congress candidate Kulbir Singh Zira. Amritpal Singh was sworn in as Lok Sabha MP on July 5. He was brought to New Delhi by a special flight. Amritpal was given parole for a few days to take oath.
