Punjab News: A major decision has been taken in view of the situation in Punjab amidst India and Pakistan tension. The order of complete blackout has been issued in Gurdaspur district. Here the administration has ordered a complete blackout from 8 May 9 pm to the next morning i.e. May 9 am.
Darkness will remain in the whole of Gurdaspur
Gurdaspur will have a complete blackout from 9 am to 5 am tonight. During this time, the lights of all the houses in the district will remain closed and will remain dark. However, this order will not apply to Central Jail Gurdaspur and Civil Hospital. At present, this order has been issued by DC of Gurdaspur. In view of the situation in Punjab, the order of complete blackout can also be issued in other districts.
Talking about the complete blackout, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that this is a matter related to the security of the country and keeping this in mind, this decision has been taken. We all stand with the army.
