Uttarakhand news: Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in an honor ceremony organized by religious and social institutions on the efforts being made by the Chief Minister for ‘corruption -free Uttarakhand’ in Balliwala, Dehradun on Sunday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also administered the oath of corruption -free Uttarakhand to all. The Chief Minister gave information about the steps taken to make the state free from corruption and described the support of the public as the biggest strength of this campaign. He said that this reception ceremony is not just an honor, but a celebration of realizing the dream of making Uttarakhand corruption free. This honor is from the 125 crore people of Uttarakhand, which is leading towards the development of the state with the values of honesty, transparency and accountability.
The Chief Minister said that the action against corruption is not a personal victory, but it is a victory for the trust of the people, the strength of honesty and the expectations of the youth. The state government has made extensive use of technology to ensure transparency under the policy of ‘zero tolerance’, including arrangements such as CM Helpline 1905 for online transfer process, monitoring and public grievance redressal and 1064 for complaints of corruption.
The Chief Minister said that strict action was taken in cases like irregularity in recruitment examinations, corruption in transfer-posting and commissioning in schemes. More than 200 people involved in corruption have been sent to jail in the last three years. In the last four years, more than 24 thousand people in the state have been provided government jobs. The Chief Minister said that the governance has been strengthened through the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code in the state, enacting strict copy laws, action against land jihad and love jihad and conversion and anti -riot laws. He said that these steps have proved that if there is strong willpower then any challenge can be faced successfully.
The Chief Minister said that “Operation Kalnami” is being run to highlight the original identity of pseudo -prostitutes in the state. More than 200 suspects have been caught so far, including some Bangladeshi intruders. The Chief Minister appealed to the public to immediately inform the police about such elements. The Chief Minister said that the state government is determined to create transparent, accountable and public interest governance by adopting the mantra of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s “Neither Khaun, Na Dhan”. He said that continuous work is being done towards making the state a corruption -free, culturally prosperous and the best state in the country. MLAs Mr. Khajan Das, Swami Chidanand Saraswati, Mr. Kishan Giri Maharaj, Mr. Rakesh Oberoi, Mr. Pankaj Gupta and representatives of various religious and social organizations were present on the occasion.
