Himachal rains: As soon as the monsoon arrives, Himachal Pradesh has started raining from the sky. Every hill path has now been telling stories of fear from the havoc that the clouds have caused. Landslides, torrential rains and death figures, everything together has pushed Himachal into disaster. In many districts, the havoc of rain is such that the Meteorological Department has issued a rail alert.
School closed, alert issued; Red zone -like atmosphere in four districts
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert regarding Kangra, Mandi, Sirmaur and Solan districts. The situation is so bad that the government has closed all schools. Also, the Meteorological Department has warned of havoc in many areas till 5 July.
39 deaths so far in Himachal
Three more lives have gone due to rain in the last 24 hours, and so far a total of 39 people have died as soon as the monsoon begins. In Una and Bilaspur, people were swept away in water, and in Shimla, a man died due to falling from height. A few days ago, 5 people lost their lives in Kangra due to cloudburst. Right now the number of dead is expected to increase.
Every corner of Himachal is scared
Train services came to a standstill for hours due to heavy debris and trees falling on the Shimla-Kalka railway line. The 5 -storey building in Bhattakufar area swallowed the entire earth. Thankfully there were no casualties. The road has been broken by Landslide near Koti on NH-5 (Shimla-Chandigarh) highway, due to which there is a 2-3 km long jam.
Government warns to those going to Manali
The state government has issued a warning to the tourists and the local people, saying that they should not travel towards Manali, they can take the way to death.
