Raja raghuwanshi murder case: The story of husband and wife on a honeymoon from Indore has now become a dreadful murder mystery. The case of killing King Raghuvanshi in Khasi Hills of Meghalaya has surprised everyone. Wife hatched a conspiracy to kill, surrender in Ghazipur
According to the Meghalaya Police, Sonam had called her husband Raja to get the mercenary killers to get down to death. These killers were from Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. The conspiracy to murder was already ready. Police said that Sonam surrendered at Nandganj police station in Ghazipur, after which he was arrested. DGP Eye Nongrang himself revealed the matter.
Accused caught from Indore, Lalitpur and Sagar
Police have so far arrested a total of 5 accused in this case:
Akash Rajput (19) – Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh
Vishal Singh Chauhan (22) – Indore, Madhya Pradesh
Raj Singh Kushwaha (21) – Indore, Madhya Pradesh
Sonam Raghuvanshi – Raja’s wife, arrested from Ghazipur
Another accused – arrested from Sagar district
Vivek Sim, SP of East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya Police, informed that all the accused have confessed to the king’s murder.
Truth revealed from postmortem
King Raghuvanshi’s body was in bad condition. The king’s body was rotten due to rain and time and it was very difficult to recognize the face. The family identified the body with the king’s tattoo. The postmortem revealed that the king had two deep wounds on his head, one forward and one behind. Also, many bones of the body were badly broken. A sharp weapon ‘Dow’ was used in the murder, which was recovered from the spot.
This testimony became real link
Albert pad, a local guide, twisted the investigation. He said that on May 23, he saw Sonam and Raja with three other youths. The four men were walking forward and Sonam was behind. All were talking in Hindi. According to the guide, these people spent the night in Shipara Homestay and left the next morning without a guide. This was the same day since the king went missing.
Constructing doubts
The location of the scooter that Raja and Sonam had hired were also doubtful. The scooter was found in the parking lot about 25 km from the place of getting the dead body and the key was also attached to it. It is clear that after the murder, the killers ran away and deliberately left the scooter in a separate place so that the police is misled.
Police hard work
Meghalaya Chief Minister Konrad Sangma tweeted and informed that this case was completely resolved within 7 days due to the hard work of the police. He wrote, “Our police have set a great example. Three killers have been arrested and the woman has surrendered.”
The secret of murder became a mystery
Although the police have achieved great success after Sonam’s conspiracy and arrest of the killers behind the murder, it is not yet clear what was the reason behind the murder. Was it a love affair or property or domestic dispute? According to the police, there was complicity between Sonam and accused Raj Kushwaha. However, Raj was not present at the scene, but he was in touch with other killers.
