Minor girl was living in live in relationship
According to media reports, a 17 -year -old minor girl was living in a live -in partnership with a young man named 2023 from 2023, Deepak Uike. Her stomach ache on Monday, due to which she reached GMCH, but she was discharged from the hospital in the evening. After this, the minor had pain again in his stomach, then she reached the hospital, where two days later it was found that her child was over in the minor’s womb. After which the case of rape came up. The GMCH staff is surprised by the incident and immediately informed the police.
Police arrested a minor’s partner
As soon as the information of the case was received, the police reached the spot, after which her age was detected by the Aadhaar card of the girl, following the protocol, which was confirmed this time that she was a minor. After this, after the complaint of the victim’s family, on Wednesday, the police arrested 20 -year -old Deepak Uike, who was living in a live -in relationship with the girl. This case is quite sensitive because despite being a minor, the girl became pregnant. It is reported that both the minor girl and the young man had consent relations, but due to being a minor, legal complications have arisen.
In this case, Dnyaneshwar Bhedodkar, the disciplinary inspector of the Hudkeshwar police station, said that even though the relationship between the two was formed, the matter has become complicated due to being a minor. This raised questions on the controversial issue of consent under Indian law. After miscarriage, a medical examination of a minor girl was underwent after abortion, in which several evidence has been found. After this, a case of rape was registered under the Indian Penal Code and POCSO Act. At present, the police is investigating whether there was force or misconduct in this case.
