The swearing-in ceremony of the new BJP government in Haryana is to be held on October 17. Earlier there were reports that there was a tussle going on within the party regarding the post of Chief Minister. It was said that BJP MP from Gurugram Rao Inderjit Singh has become a rebel. It was said in the media that there are 9 MLAs with Inderjit and they are adamant on the demand for the post of CM. However, Rao Inderjit Singh himself clarified things by making a post on X on Sunday. He termed such news as completely wrong. Inderjit Singh wrote, ‘Factless news is being run on some media channels, in which I am being shown as a rebel along with 9 MLAs. This is all factless, baseless news. I and all my fellow MLAs have stood firmly with the Bharatiya Janata Party.
In the recently held Haryana Assembly elections, BJP won 48 out of total 90 victories. Congress got 37 seats. The special thing is that in Ahirwal region of South Haryana, BJP hoisted the victory flag on 10 out of 11 seats. Most of the candidates here are considered close to Union Minister and Gurgaon MP Rao Inderjit Singh. Rao’s daughter Aarti Singh Rao won from Ateli seat. She is also said to be in the race for ministerial post this time. It is known that Inderjit Singh is the Minister of State for Planning, Culture and Statistics and Programming Implementation Department at the Centre. Apart from these, Anil Vij’s name was also running in the race for the post of CM. He himself had expressed his desire regarding this.
