Himachal Pradesh Minister Vikramaditya Singh on Monday said on the issue of Waqf Board that reforms should be brought in any organization in time. It is the responsibility of all of us to correct the kind of environment that has been created in Himachal Pradesh. There is a need to improve it. We are making every possible effort for this. It is necessary to bring transparency in any organization or religious institution. In this regard, we have said that transparency should be brought through reforms so that people are aware of everything.

Vikramaditya Singh said that people should be aware of financial records and land records so that the atmosphere in the state can be improved and people can live together with love and brotherhood. A day earlier, Vikramaditya Singh had written on his social media account that it is necessary to change every law with time. With changing times, there is a need to make improvements in the Waqf Board as well.

It is noteworthy that this statement of Himachal Pradesh Minister Vikramaditya Singh has come at a time when anger is being seen among the local people over the allegations of alleged illegal construction of mosques in the state. The situation is such that the spark of protest against the illegal construction of mosques in Shimla, Mandi and Nerwa has reached Sirmaur. On Saturday, hundreds of people took to the streets in Shillai under the banner of Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti and demanded an investigation of people from outside states living within the district without registration.

Meanwhile, Hindu organization Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti has announced to hold protests in all district headquarters across the state on September 28 to warn the administration. Bharat Bhushan, convener of Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti, said in a press conference in Shimla on Monday that if the decision in the Sanjauli mosque dispute is not taken on October 5, then a jail bharo aandolan will be started. This aandolan will be carried out in the entire state. He also said that protests will be organized across the state on September 28 to warn the government.
