Giving relief to the MSME sector in Gujarat, the BJP government has increased the power supply limit. Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry Additional General Secretary said that this important policy change will provide great relief to MSMEs across the state.
The power supply limit for MSME sector in Gujarat has been increased from 100 kilowatts (KVA/kW) to 150 kW. In a press release issued here on Saturday by Rahul Seth, Additional General Secretary, Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), GCCI has welcomed the decision of the Gujarat Government. Also expressed gratitude to the State Government and the Electricity Department for taking decisive steps to increase the power supply limit from 100 KVA to 150 KVA. This important policy change will provide significant relief to MSMEs across the state.
He said that due to the efforts of the then former GCCI President Ajay Patel, the power supply limit for the MSME sector has increased. He continuously raised the issues of MSMEs with the government and tried to solve them.
Seth said that GCCI President Sandeep Engineer has been continuously making efforts on this important issue. Under his leadership, GCCI is committed to ensuring the interests of the trading community and promoting a developmental environment. Increasing power capacity is an important initiative for the state’s MSME sector, which is the backbone of Gujarat’s economy. This will boost the economic development of the state and encourage the expansion of businesses and the economy of the state.
It will also help in strengthening the economy of the state. This progressive initiative is a reflection of the Government’s commitment to create an enabling environment for business growth and industrial development. This policy change will result in significant cost savings and contribute positively to the overall economic prosperity of Gujarat.
