Uttrakhand news: In the presence of Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, MOU between Government Doon Medical College, Government Medical College Haldwani and Sevadan Arogya Sanstha at the Secretariat on Wednesday. Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government is constantly trying to improve health facilities. He said that in these medical colleges, there will be a big facility for Timardars by becoming a rest house. Families coming with admitted patients will get a solution to the problem of night rest and stay.
The Chief Minister also asked the Sevadan Arogya Sanstha to make this arrangement at the AIIMS Satellite Center in Kichha, on which the institution agreed. Under the Sevadan Arogya Foundation, Government Medical College Haldwani and Dehradun will construct rest houses for Timardars. In both medical colleges, construction of a relaxation houses with a capacity of 350 beds is proposed to be constructed. For the night rest in these rest houses, ₹ 55 per bed and two -bed rooms will be made available at the rate of ₹ 300 per room in the bed. Also, breakfast will be made available at cheaper rates of ₹ 20 and food ₹ 35.
These rest houses will be operated and maintained by the Arogya Foundation. Government Medical College Dehradun will provide 1750 sqm and 1400 sqm land rest house by Government Medical College Haldwani. This is MOU The next 20 years will be valid.
