Rs 27,000 crore loan taken in 18 months; Anurag Thakur's allegations against Himachal government

In Himachal Pradesh, the issue of delay in salary of government employees and pension of pensioners has been heated for some time. In such a situation, former Union Minister and BJP leader Anurag Thakur said on Monday that the Congress government of Himachal Pradesh has taken a loan of more than Rs 27,000 crore in the last 18 months. Anurag Thakur made the same allegation while addressing public meetings at several places in his parliamentary constituency Hamirpur including Nadaun, the home assembly constituency of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, on Sunday evening.

Allegation of taking loan of Rs 27,000 crore

In a statement issued on Monday, Anurag Thakur said, ‘So far, in just 18 months of tenure, the state government has taken a loan of more than Rs 27 thousand crores, despite this, this government does not have the budget to carry out development work in the state. ‘

Congress only plans for recovery: Thakur

The BJP leader said that the Congress government does not give anything, but keeps making plans to extort money from the people. He said that the condition of roads in the entire state is bad and Chief Minister’s assembly constituency Nadaun is also no exception to this.

Anurag Thakur said that be it electricity, water, roads, education or health, there is a burden of taxes everywhere. The electricity subsidy given by the previous BJP government has been stopped and the burden of water bills has been imposed on the rural population.

The former Union minister claimed that the BJP has enrolled more than 16.5 lakh people as its primary members in the state and the work is still going on. He said that workers are the real backbone of any party and their needs and aspirations should be kept in mind. He urged the people of the state to join the BJP and said this can be done by calling the toll free number 8800002024.
