After a villager was injured in a collision with the private car of the in-charge of Tonk district of Rajasthan, the villagers gheraoed the Nasirada police station on Sunday. During this, a clash also came to light between the police and the villagers. In which the glass of the DSP’s car and the glass of the police station window broke in the incident of sporadic stone pelting. It is also being reported that one or two policemen were injured in the stone pelting. According to the villagers, despite hitting the car, the SHO misbehaved with the villagers and threatened them, while the injured person had a fracture in his leg.
At present, there is peace in Nasirada village, but the villagers have put up a tent outside the police station and are sitting on a dharna. In view of law and order, along with the Deoli DSP, the force of Deoli and Duni police station is also deployed at Nasirada police station. DSP Ram Singh Jat said that a case of car collision has been registered, now further action is underway.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ram Singh Jat said that on Saturday night, Ram Prasad Dhakad, son of Radha Kishan Dhakad, aged 30 years, and his wife Kali Devi, both residents of Konasirda village, were shot dead by the car of Nasirda police station in-charge Arvind Lashkar.

They were seen demanding action against the SHO. Meanwhile, on receiving information about the siege of the police station, the police force of Deoli and Duni including DSP reached the spot from Deoli subdivision headquarters. Meanwhile, the villagers have also demanded that the station in-charge be APOed. There was stone pelting between the police and the villagers amid tension outside the police station, in which the glass of the police vehicle broke and one or two policemen were also injured. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ram Singh Jat, who reached the spot, tried to remove the blockade by talking to the villagers but the matter did not work out. The villagers are adamant on the demand for the suspension of the station in-charge. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ram Singh Jat said that a case of collision has been registered by the victim in this matter.
The villagers are being counselled in the matter. Action will be taken against whoever is found guilty. Police force from many police stations including Deoli, Duni, Ghad, Nasirda, Tonk, Malpura, Jhirna have been deployed to maintain peace.
