Saras Dairy, which has established itself across Rajasthan for its milk supply, will be seen adding sweetness to the festive cheer this Diwali. This time on the occasion of Diwali, pure and delicious sweets of Saras brand will be available across the state. Jaipur Dairy will deliver delicious flavors like Alwar Dairy’s famous Kalakand and Bikaner Dairy’s Rasgulla and Rajbhog to the people of the state.
Taking care of quality in sweets, according to Shruti Bhardwaj, Managing Director of Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation, this time on Diwali, the district milk unions of the state will provide sweets made from pure milk and ghee to the consumers. All district milk unions have been instructed to pay special attention to hygiene, sanitation and high quality while manufacturing sweets.
This time, apart from the local sweets made by milk unions, dairy booths will be available in all the districts to make sweets like Alwar Dairy Milk Cake and Bikaner Rasgulla, Gulab Jamun, Rajbhog and Soan Papdi. Apart from this, Peda and Bhilwara Dairy will provide barfi on behalf of Ajmer, Bhilwara and Hanumangarh Dairy. Apart from selected booths of all the cooperative dairies of the state, sweets will be sold by setting up stalls at prominent places.
Gift handpacks of Bikaner Dairy sweets will also be available this festive season. Saras Sweet Gift Hampers Pack will contain one kg Rasgulla packet, one kg Gulab Jamun packet and 400 gram packet Soan Papdi. Saras gift pack will be available for Rs 550/-. Shruti Bhardwaj claimed that the ‘guarantee of purity’ of Saras brand is its identity.
