Haryana School Closed: Pollution is not showing any sign of reduction in many states including Delhi and Haryana. Due to increasing pollution, the Deputy Government of Haryana has made a big announcement in the interest of health and safety of school children. Haryana government has ordered temporary closure of all government and private schools up to class 5. During this period, online classes will continue.

A letter has been issued by the Directorate of School Education to all the District Deputy Commissioners in this regard. According to the letter issued, the Haryana government has decided that in view of the serious AQI levels in Delhi and surrounding areas, the concerned Deputy Commissioner will assess the current situation. Issue guidelines for conducting online classes up to class 5 in all government and private schools in the interest of health and safety of students. The evaluation of rural and urban areas of the respective districts will be different.

Many cities in the grip of smog for five days

Many cities of Haryana state are in the grip of smog. Smog has been prevalent in many cities for the last five days. Delhi’s AQI level is the worst among 22 cities of the country. Delhi’s AQI has reached 396. At the same time, AQI of eight cities of Haryana state has also reached the very bad category. The situation in Bhiwani city of Haryana is worrying. The air of Bhiwani city is in very bad condition for the last two days.

Not only this, due to increasing smog, road accidents are also increasing. Apart from Bhiwani city of Haryana, the air of Bahadurgarh, Jind, Sonipat, Kaithal, Rohtak, Gurugram and Karnal has also reached the category of very bad. The AQI of 10 cities is between 200 and 300. Yellow smog alert has been issued in these ten cities Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Rohtak, Karnal, Sonipat, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Panipat, Hisar, Jind and Bhiwani.

Classes will run in online mode in Delhi also

The pollution situation in Delhi-NCR is also in serious condition. Due to increasing pollution, Delhi government has also decided to keep primary schools closed. Here all the classes will run on online mode. Air pollution is at its peak in the northern areas of Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi posted on social media platform X and wrote that due to increasing pollution, online classes will be conducted in all primary schools of Delhi till further instructions.
