In the mail that got this time, it was said in the name of a terrorist that “Ajmal Kasab was wrong, it would be avenged.” The mail claimed that the bomb was placed in the airport toilet pipeline.

Mail sender is being searched

On the 13th and 16th, two threatened emails were sent. There was talk of two-two bombs in both and it was said that if one plan failed, the other plan will become active. After investigation, the officials made it clear that this is just a rumor. The airport police have registered a case and the manager is being searched.

What happens if the aircraft threatens a bomb?

When an aircraft or airport is threatened with a bomb, the security protocols are immediately activated. Their purpose is to protect all passengers and staff. The first ‘Bomb Threat Assessment Committee’ is formed. It consists of people from airport staff, CISF, BCAS and other security agencies.

If the aircraft is in the air, it is tried to take it down at the nearest airport. If it is about to fly, it is stopped and investigated. The aircraft is taken to separate areas of the airport so that the rest are not threatened.

Passengers and crew members are taken safely, but they are not given much information so that nervousness does not spread. With the help of bomb disposal squad, sniffer dogs and machines, the aircraft is thoroughly examined, goods, cargo and every corner are searched. When it is sure that there is nothing in the aircraft, then it is allowed to fly again.
