Famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s Thar car was presented in Mansa court today. This is the same Thar in which Moosewala was killed by indiscriminate firing. Sidhu Moosewala’s Thar was brought to the district court amid tight police security. As soon as people came to know that this is the same Thar in which the singer was killed, a huge crowd of people gathered there. There are many bullet marks on this Thar even today.
In the Moosewala murder case, the court had asked to present the Thar vehicle and weapons in the said case. On this, the said Thar vehicle was presented in the court on Friday. Apart from this, the police of Thana Gharinda of Amritsar district also presented AK-47, which was recovered during the encounter of gangsters with the police in Amritsar district.
The hearing was postponed last time due to not bringing Thar
Two weeks ago, witness Gurpreet Singh had identified 7 accused who appeared in Mansa court in Sidhu Moosewala murder case, but then the hearing was postponed due to Sidhu Moosewala not coming to the court and the next hearing was fixed on 13 September. During the hearing held today, Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh also appeared in the court. The other accused named in this case appeared in the court through VC. Now the next hearing in the case will be on 27 September. Sidhu Moosewala was killed by shooters in Jawaharke village on 29 May 2022 by firing several bullets.
30 rounds were fired on Thar
The attackers fired 30 rounds on the Mahindra Thar from AK-47, AK-94 and other weapons, killing Moosewala on the spot. Gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi and his associate Canadian gangster Goldie Brar took responsibility for this murder. This Thar car was in police custody for the first 6 months but later it was parked in Sidhu Moosewala’s mansion. Moosewala’s father wanted this car to be parked in the house so that Moosewala’s fans could see it. Even today his fans come to see this car and take selfies with it. Later the family got this car restored from Delhi but some bullet marks on it have not been removed.
