Miscreants tried to kidnap a contractor in Jagmohara village under Bithan police station of Samastipur district of Bihar. When this failed, the contractor was shot and injured. The miscreants fired three bullets at the contractor. Out of which two bullets hit the leg while one bullet went through the cheek. The family members have taken the injured contractor to Begusarai for treatment. Where treatment is being done in a private clinic. The incident took place last night on the waterways of Kareh river in Jagmohara village. The injured contractor has been identified as Rajesh Kumar alias Gohal Singh (42).
According to the information, Rajesh contracts to transport laborers to factories in Punjab. He also gives loans on interest to the needy people of the village and surrounding areas. It is reported that after around 8 pm last night, four criminals riding on two bikes reached Jagmohra village and tried to kidnap Rajesh near Waterways Dam.
