Ahmedabad: The country is all set to celebrate the 76th Republic Day. Gujarat’s tableau will also be shown in the main parade to be held in Delhi. Will present a tableau based on the theme of ‘Gujarat: From Anartpur to Ekta Nagar – Heritage as well as Development’ on the duty path of Delhi. The tableau of Gujarat includes the state’s cultural heritage ranging from the 12th century ‘Kirti Toran’ of Vadnagar i.e. Anartpur to the 21st century ‘Statue of Unity’ as well as the state’s ‘self-reliance’ in the defence, technology, automobile and manufacturing sectors. The various development projects displayed have been presented effectively.
Development story will be seen in the tableau of Gujarat
In the next part of the tableau of Gujarat, there is the 12th century ‘Kirti Toran’ located in Vadnagar, built during the Solanki period, which is called the cultural gateway of Gujarat, and finally, the pride of the 21st century, the 182 meter high statue of Sardar Patel, ‘Statue of Unity’. Shown is the tallest statue in the world. Between these two legacies are replicas of the spectacular development that has taken place in various sectors in Gujarat.

In the background of the tableau, a unit of Indian Air Force’s C-295 aircraft being produced by ‘Tata Advanced Systems Limited’ in Vadodara, one of the projects of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ in the defense technology sector, below that is the Sabarmati Riverfront of Ahmedabad. Connecting both the banks is the ‘Atal Bridge’, which is called a miracle of engineering. Showcasing the success of the semiconductor manufacturing sector in Gujarat with huge investment, semiconductor chips and various related equipment and below that, Gujarat’s auto and machine industry being established as an automobile-manufacturing hub.
Statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is also shown
In the last part of the tableau, a 182 meter high statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel made of iron collected from farmers across the country as a tribute to the first Deputy Prime Minister of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary. ‘Of Unity’ is depicted, which is the tallest statue in the world. In its lower part, the activities of ‘Underwater Sports’ taking shape in the holy land of Jagat Mandir Dwarka and Shivrajpur Beach have been displayed.
