Bihar News: After Tejashwi Yadav, the controversy is increasing about two EPIC cards of Bihar Deputy CM and senior BJP leader Vijay Sinha. The Congress first raised the matter on social media, then Tejashwi Yadav attacked him by referring to both the EPIC number – Lakhisarai IAF3939337 and Bankipur AFS0853341. Tejashwi questioned whether the Election Commission will send a notice to Vijay Sinha and take action on it?
After this, Vijay Sinha came in front of the media and said that he only votes from Lakhisarai. He said that his name was earlier in the voter list of Bankipur assembly constituency, but in April 2024 he had applied to remove the name from Bankipur and add to Lakhisarai. Vijay Sinha also said that he also has a receipt for this application.
Tejashwi’s charge – very big fraud
This morning the Congress made a tweet, referring to Vijay Sinha’s two EPIC cards, describing it as a great fraud. After this, Tejashwi Yadav called a press conference in Patna and reacted to the issue. He said that Vijay Sinha should get notice from both the districts. Tejashwi called it a “very big fraud” and said that we will also take up the matter in the court. He also questioned whether the Election Commission would send any notice regarding Vijay Sinha’s two EPIC card or not.
Tejashwi raised many important questions
Tejashwi Yadav said that in the draft voter list released on August 1, the age is visible in both Vijay Sinha’s EPIC card. In one card, he is said to be 57 years old and 60 years in the other. Tejashwi called it “fraud” and said that he would take the matter to court as well. He also alleged that earlier you could have searched the voter list by name, but now the draft file has been replaced. Earlier the voter list was text-based PDF, now it has been converted into image-based PDF, which has made it very difficult to find. Rahul Gandhi had also questioned this issue and said that our objections are being ignored.
Tejashwi also accused his two EPIC cards of media trials. He said that on August 7, he received a letter from the Election Commission, which he responded to the Speed Post on 8 August.
